Copenhagen Airport Ride (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through copenhagenairportride.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who is responsible

2. What we collect and why
Booking details
Name, email address, phone number, pick-up and drop-off locations, travel date and time, passenger count, flight number and any notes you add (for example children’s ages or luggage). We need these to quote, confirm and operate the transfer you request. Legal basis: performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
Correspondence
Emails, WhatsApp messages and call notes related to your enquiry or booking, kept so any of our team can pick up your case. Legal basis: contract performance and our legitimate interest in providing consistent customer service (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
Payment and invoicing data
Amounts, invoice details and payment method (we never store full card numbers — card payments are processed by the payment terminal provider). Legal basis: legal obligation under Danish bookkeeping law (Art. 6(1)(c)).
Technical data
Basic server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps — used for security, abuse prevention and keeping the website working. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
3. What we do NOT do
- We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
- We do not use your data for third-party advertising.
- We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
- We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies (see section 7).
4. Who we share data with
Your booking details are shared only with the people and providers needed to deliver the service:
- Your driver — receives your name, phone number, pick-up details and relevant notes for the journey.
- IT service providers — website hosting and email services that store data on our behalf under data-processing agreements.
- Messaging platforms — if you contact us on WhatsApp, your messages are processed by WhatsApp/Meta under their own privacy terms; use email or phone if you prefer to avoid this.
- Authorities — only where the law requires it (for example tax authorities reviewing accounting records).
Where a provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, we rely on EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
5. How long we keep data
- Booking and invoicing records: five full financial years, as required by the Danish Bookkeeping Act, then deleted.
- Enquiries that do not become bookings: deleted within twelve months.
- Server logs: rotated and deleted within ninety days.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can, at any time and free of charge:
- request a copy of the personal data we hold about you (access);
- have inaccurate data corrected (rectification);
- have data deleted where we no longer need it (erasure);
- restrict or object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw any consent you have given, without affecting prior processing.
To exercise any right, email bookings@premiercitytransfer.com. We respond within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet, www.datatilsynet.dk).
7. Cookies
This website uses only technically necessary cookies — for example remembering a booking form in progress or a logged-in administrator session. These require no consent banner under the ePrivacy rules. We set no analytics, advertising or social-media tracking cookies. If we ever introduce optional cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
8. Security
The website is served over HTTPS, access to booking data is limited to the operations team and the assigned driver, and our systems are kept updated. No internet service can promise absolute security, but we treat your travel details with the same discretion we promise in the car.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change how we process personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes affecting existing bookings will be communicated by email.
